Playstation Plus has released its June list of free-access games for members, and there is a familiar title in the mix. All twelve episodes of Siren: Blood Curse will be available to members for free until June 30th. There was some hope that the game would be remastered for PS4 when the Korean Game Rating Board issued a rating for it last month, but the PS Plus offer is for the current PS3 version.
The Siren series isn’t for the faint of heart, but it is a great series to go back and play if you missed it in 2008. There is never a safe place or moment in the game, which gives you the kind of thrill that only sustained danger offers. Fans of the early Silent Hill games may find themselves at home in that series’s horrifying sibling, led by the same creative director. It’s definitely worth checking out this month if you have a PS Plus membership and an old PS3 hanging around.
