Cracked Heads Games’ upcoming haunted mansion horror game Silver Chains will spook players on August 6 on PC.
The studio’s debut title appears to be a psychological horror title through and through, subjecting players (and the game’s protagonist) to twisted frights and a mysterious story. Based on the trailer and new screenshots, Unreal Engine 4 has benefitted the game well as the ambiance looks pretty thick.
Silver Chains follows protagonist Peter’s journey moments after waking up in an abandoned mansion, located somewhere in rural England. Peter doesn’t know why he’s there, which sets the stage for a building narrative about the mansion’s past. Players can expect puzzles and to be pursued by supernatural entities.
Silver Chains is set for release on PC via Steam and other digital storefronts and on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch in Q4 2019.
