According to Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno, Konami will be sharing further details on the much-anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake “very soon.”
Despite our continued coverage of the title since its initial announcement in 2022, we haven’t seen much in terms of marketing updates. Thankfully, Babieno’s statement has revealed that patient fans will be rewarded for their long wait.
Silent Hill 2 Remake promotion and marketing expected to ramp up “very soon”, says Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno.

Previously, we reported on updates made to the Silent Hill 2 Remake Steam page, and PlayStation themselves have confirmed that the title is set to release this year in 2024. Furthermore, in a recent Reddit post, user NeonG95 points out that industry insider Jeff Grub has pointed out that a PlayStation State of Play will be released in “the next few weeks.” All of this information is directing toward the potential release of new information regarding the game.
Of course, this remains to be seen, but at least we have something to look forward to.
According to Jeff:
There’s a State of Play coming. When exactly? Not sure, but I’d expect it in the next few weeks. State of Plays are always weird man. You always get the sense that these are just contractual obligations. They just told a company that they’d give them free marketing so they fill a need and have to do it. So, they could be disappointing.
