In Shutter, the player controls a remote security drone that has been dispatched to a haunted manor located in a creepy forest. While the game was previously available on lesser-known platforms, it has now finally made its way to Steam and can be purchased for $4.99.
I reviewed the game on this website and gave it an 8/10, praising it for the great atmosphere and fun concept. While controlling the drone, the player has to investigate supernatural phenomena and attempt to take pictures of anything abnormal in order to progress the game. It’s kind of like Fatal Frame mixed with a control scheme and art-style reminiscent of classic Resident Evil games. However, the game is pretty short and comes off as more of a quick snack, so don’t go into it expecting to be busy for 10 hours; I finished the whole game in one sitting.
