Enola is an atmospheric indie horror title that follows an unnamed female protagonist in search of her kidnapped girlfriend. The culprit is a serial killer that takes the main character’s partner to a mysterious and perhaps haunted island where strange things happen. Enola is said to have no combat and focus on puzzle solving. With no monsters to fight, Enola focuses on environmental ambiance, traps, and puzzles–it’s nice to see games do this, because these type of horror titles have to really focus on atmospheric terror. Developed by Salvadoran developer The Domaginarium, Enola marks yet another interesting horror title that the indie space may become proud of.
A free version of Enola is available now to entice buyers to either back the game on Steam Greenlight or pre-purchase the full title at a discount price.
