Various retailers in Japan have already started taking pre-orders for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy for PS4, according to Gematsu. The collection features 3 games: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. This is the first time the survival horror series has been ported to consoles.
Microsoft Gaming will feature a half-hour of new game trailers on YouTube today, and it has been suggested it will feature the formerly-unannounced S.T.A.L.K.E.R. collection.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl was for PC only, developed by GSC Gameworld and published by THQ in 2007. The game has an alternative reality take on the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Clear Sky, a prequel, was released in 2008, and then Call of Pripyat followed in 2010. It is a non-linear first-person shooter survival horror series, and has been well-received.
This coming September, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl sequel will be released on Xbox and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass.
