GSC Game World has officially announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will feature two post-launch story expansions. The news comes on the heels of an extensive developer deep dive that showcased new gameplay footage and provided a closer look at the game’s hostile, open world.
The game is now available for pre-order, with its Season Pass included exclusively in the digital version of the Ultimate Edition, which is priced at $109.99.
There will also be physical versions of the game in both a Collector’s Edition for $180, and an Ultimate Edition for $350.
According to the Xbox store, the Season Pass grants access to all future downloadable content, including the two story expansions. However, specific details about the content of these expansions remain under wraps. The anticipation surrounding this title has only grown with the recent gameplay reveals and the promise of additional content post-launch.
Fans of the series have eagerly awaited the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which has faced numerous delays. The game is finally set to launch on November 20, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
