According to a tip by IGN reader BouncerZA, the South African retail site BT Games has put up a link to accept early pre-orders for Dead Space 3.
EA has yet to officially announce Dead Space 3, but since last year, a number of different outlets have provided information linking to the game’s possibility, including a piece by an Israeli news show. Job listings surfaced last year, as well as early details on the game.
IGN interviewed EA Games president Frank Gibeau in an article released a month ago, and said, “I think we still have some areas to grow with Dead Space in terms of trying to reach a broader audience without losing the quality and that survival-horror mechanic. That’s how we’re going to think about it as we think about Dead Space 3 and what we do next with the IP.”
Though it appears highly likely we’ll be seeing a trilogy made out of this franchise in the near future, the game has yet to be officially announced. Fans of the franchise should take any rumors with a grain of salt.
