Dark Souls didn’t exactly have the best PC port, and the console version of Dark Souls 2 has received a lot of criticism regarding it’s graphical downgrade from demos. So some PC gamers have been wary of how the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will fair, and for good reason. Thankfully though, it looks like the PC version will indeed be very expansive. A poster on NeoGAF claiming to have access to the PC build of the game noted the following options:
“1080p at 60fps
Several graphics options. Textures, shadows, effects, AA, AO, blur, anisotropic filtering, water quality, depth of field and etc
There’s an option that will automatically lower your graphics to mantain performance
Really fast loading times. Don’t even have time to read an entire tip”
Granted this is of course just a rumor, so keep in mind it may not be legitimate.
