Rides With Strangers puts you in the passenger’s seat

The phenomenon of hitchhiking has become rare these days, and likewise there are very few games that explore the unpredictable subject. Reflect Studios wants to put gamers in the role of an involuntary passenger though in their upcoming game, Rides with Strangers.

Currently seeking $25,000 on Kickstarter, the game has you in the perspective of Elora, who needs to get to a job interview but her car breaks down during the middle of the trip. Now hitchhiking, she can encounter 10 different drivers who may or may not have insidious motives for our protagonist, with even more strangers planned as stretch goals. At any point during the drive, Elora can bail out of the vehicle but only if the driver is sufficiently distracted and if you’re prepared to take a tumble.
