Even though it really hasn’t been months since I announced that I would be taking a break from the site, it still feels like it’s been a long time, especially because I would always be posting stories on a daily basis. I’ve missed writing news stories and articles for you guys to read. Fortunately, things have been starting to go back to normal. So, yeah, I’ll be REturning next week. And I have quite a lot planned…
Firstly, reHorror will be back and will continue to be weekly. I have quite a lot of topics I want to talk about and quite a lot of theories about Resident Evil 6 to share. Then I’ll also be bringing back WeeklyVania, which some of you may remember. Now Castlevania and Resident Evil fans will both have a weekly column to look forward to, exclusively here at Rely on Horror!
Lastly, I’ve been playing a lot of Silent Hill. I finally beat the original and went on to beat 2 and 3 thanks to the HD Collection. Amazing stuff. Silent Hill 2 made me cry more than any other game I can remember and Silent Hill 3 scared the undigested shit out of me throughout its duration. Boy was I missing out on an amazing series…Then I braved the storm and beat Downpour which is definitely Rely on Horror’s current GOTY (let’s see if RE 6 brings the scares!). Yeah, I’m a SH fan now, and I’ll be publishing multiple articles about my experiences with the aforementioned titles. (Yes, I will be playing all the other SH titles I’ve missed, too.)
