Retail version of The Walking Dead: The Game is giving Xbox 360 users issues

Those who own a retail copy of The Walking Dead: The Game for the Xbox 360 are finding it hard to experience the game they decided to purchase. The game was already home to some technical issues here and there, like many have reported, but the issues some Xbox 360 users are experiencing with the retail version are pretty extreme.

Xbox 360 users have taken it to Telltale’s forum to share the issues they’ve been having with others. Issues like freezing and stuttering, which makes the game’s quicktime events nearly impossible to properly perform. One user even noted how the button prompt appeared way too late for the action to be completed. Damn…

It’s not just performance issues like the ones aforementioned, but users are also reporting that they can’t even play Episode 2. After beating the first episode and selecting the second, players are automatically sent back to the beginning of Episode 1. A title update was released that was intended to remedy this issue, but many users are still experiencing it.
