Resident Evil Revelations hits one million in sales

You see publications spewing sales numbers from publishers for their big games everyday. So allow me to suit up, tighten my tie, and give you all some sales talk. But first, a little revelation (that shouldn’t really be all that new…)

Resident Evil is a series that’s certainly lost its way over the years. It makes me sad. While it’s true that we always have the classic games to replay, it’s also true that Capcom has really dropped the ball when it comes to actually honoring those survival horror gems. One such game that came pleasantly close was Resident Evil Revelations. It’s my favorite modern Resident Evil game, and this particular bit of news makes me happy, though I wish it hit this milestone sooner.

Resident Evil Revelations (on home consoles) has passed one million in sales. It currently REsts at 1.1 million. This is the game all fans should’ve supported, because unlike Resident Evil 6, Revelations was actually invested in its survival horror roots. Of course, they didn’t just ignore the mechanics introduced in RE4, but they gave us a nice mix of old-school and new nonetheless. Give us more like this, Capcom .
