With Resident Evil 7, Capcom is planning to bring to series back to its roots, while also moving it forward with a new gameplay perspective. But one thing that’s been worrying fans is the lack of combat being shown.
Capcom has been really careful about what they’ve been showing in their trailers. They’ve been slowly peeling back layers of the game, instead of outright revealing everything there is to the game before it launches. So, after confirming that the game will actually have combat, Capcom has given us a visual taste of the mechanic.
