Resident Evil 6 speculation is once again at an all-time high, thanks to the recent No Hope Left viral site. While we won’t know what it’s truly about until (hopefully) 5:00 am on Friday, which is when Capcom is holding their big Resident Evil 15th anniversary event in Tokyo (looks like I’m not sleeping!), we now have something else to make us run amok with speculation.
According to GamesBeat, a reliable source within Capcom has stated to them that Resident Evil 6 will star the epic duo of Chris and Leon. That’s…just…too…much…epicness! This would be the first time a main RE title stars two male leads (don’t worry Chris, I’m sure Jill and Claire are just fine.) As a fan since the beginning, I’m beyond stoked about this revelation…Oh, yeah, it’s just a rumor. But how crazy would that be?
GamesBeat goes on to state how RE 6’s gameplay will be a mixture of RE 4 and 5’s. So, the action won’t be completely gone, but Capcom has learned that fans yearn for a stronger dose of horror in their Resident Evil. Ada is also reported as having a major role in the game– possibly as a villain as was rumored a while ago.
