JBoc924This year’s Tokyo Game Show is already going on as of this writing, with Nintendo kicking things off a couple of nights ago with their 3DS-centric press conference. For us survival horror and Resident Evil fans, all eyes are on Capcom to reveal, as has been rumored for a long time, Resident Evil 6.
Time to add yet another rumor into the mix. This one comes from EGM. As many people already know, tomorrow (September 15) is supposedly the day that Capcom will, as rumored, announce Resident Evil 6. This belief sprouted when we received a picture of Resident Evil 6’s logo along with a date (September 15). Well, tomorrow is that day so we only have hours left before we get that big announcement Resident Evil fans have been waiting for. But, wait. There’s more to this rumor.
EGM is also reporting that Resident Evil 6 will take the series “back to its roots.” In the process, this game will turn out to be “by far, the most gruesome Resident Evil game to date.” And, as many fans have been demanding, a “real emphasis is being placed on making the game brutally scary.” We just have hours left to see if all this is true or not. And if you ask me, I’m willing to bet on it actually being legit.
