AestheticGamer1A teaser poster of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D has come out in high quality showing the three characters we know, Chris, Jill, and HUNK along with five more characters shadowed in the background. Jeeves86 and Myself (Dusk Golem) did an analysis on the poster and think we got a good idea who the shadows are.
Now there are five shadow in the picture. One you might miss is right below Chris. We’ll start there. All you see is a gun, a arm, and a leg but we instantly recognized the pose. That is a dead-on ringer of Krauser’s pose from Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. Above Chris next to the light source is a familiar character in a collar and slicked back hair, the position is nearly identical to everyone’s bearded friend, Barry Burton! To the right of him veiled in the sunlight confused us for a bit but we believe it is Rebecca Chambers, her vest comes around her shoulders especially big in Resident Evil 5’s Mercenaries Reunion which is likely what this model is based off of and the short hair and style is another give-away. To the right of her is definitely Wesker, the pose is the same as one he has in the Resident Evil 5 guide and the hair curl above his ear where his hair sticks out is another give-away. The one on the farthest right is definitely Claire Redfield, the pose is identical to her Darkside chronicles pose and she even has the same gun, the knife scabbard sticks out from her shoulder, and you are as well able to make out her vest collar.
These five may be officially revealed at a later time but you heard it here first. And realized how big Resident Evil dorks the two of us are to notice stuff like this. We’ll be bringing you more news as it comes. In the mean time, head on over to the forums to discuss the latest!
