Finally some news on this slow day! The producer behind Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3d, Masachika Kawata, has just stated that Capcom may be planning to implement unlockables and other secrets to cater to long time fans in the upcoming 3DS exclusive:
“We’d most likely have the usual thing – an all-time favourite of Resident Evil fans. We like working on that so we are looking forward to it!”
Seeing as how this game is aimed to be a tribue to the franchise, coupled with its 15th anniversary this year, Mercenaries 3D could have a lot in store for fans. The bare game itself is already pure fan-service with characters ranging from the different games and with, hopefully, those games also being respresented in stage-form.
