JBoc924Months ago, while attending E3, I chatted with a Capcom rep’ about their upcoming slate of Resident Evil titles. One of the things I made sure to ask was concerning Revelations’ new water-based BOWs, and if they had an official name. Back then, I was told that the answer would come in the months to follow. So here we are, in November (already!) and we finally got an answer.
The game’s new slimy BOWs are known as Ooze. We’ve seen them many, many times already in screens, gameplay videos, and trailers. And recently we got a look at some variations of this new enemy with the game’s recent assets from Gamers Day 2011. They seem to play a pivotal role strictly in the game’s luxury cruise ship setting (in Jill and Parker’s scenario). But I’m sure there’s a possibility that the Ooze will pour and leak through to other areas outside the ship (see what I did there?).
