Next year’s Resident Evil: Revelations is shaping up to an entry in the franchise that fans have been asking for since the release of Resident Evil 5 and its more action-oriented approach. Revelations keeps the same over-the-shoulder camera view that both Resident Evil 4 and 5 featured, but will it offer an option to switch the perspective to a “classic mode” (like the easter egg in Lost in Nightmares)?
During a recent Ask Capcom webcast, Capcom’s US VP Christian Svensson was asked that very question. And while not completely confirming or denying such an inclusion, he stated:
“To ask for that [the Classic mode] is premature,” said Svensson. “I think fans will [be excited about Resident Evil Revelations]. It’s definitely badass.”
