JBoc924When Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D hits store shelves, 3DS owners will not only be able to experience the highly-addictive modes from Resident Evil 4 and 5 with an all-new, glasses-free, 3D perspective, but they’ll also be able to get a small taste of what’s in store for them in Resident Evil: Revelations.
Speaking in regards to this included demo, the game’s producer Masachika Kawata states: “The playable character will be Jill Valentine and the game takes place inside a cruise ship liner so she goes into the boat which is like a very eerie type of Resident Evil universe.” He then adds: “There isn’t much of a storyline – it’s a very short demo – but you will get a feeling of what Resident Evil Revelations will be like.”
If you search on Youtube, you’ll be able to find some footage of this demo in its entirety. For most veteran RE fans, this may take no more than 10 minutes, but you can be sure that it’ll provide one hell of a sampler of what’s to come in 2012 when Resident Evil returns to its roots.
