The wait for online raiding is over. Resident Evil Revelations 2’s addictive Raid Mode can now be tackled online with your buddies. You can either invite friends to your game, set up a quick match, or search for a match yourself.
Today’s title update also boosts the difficulty of said mode’s Code Red stages. The update is now compatible with the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the game. Xbox One will get it shortly.
Capcom has also revealed a couple of weekly events coming to Raid Mode by way of ResidentEvil.net (starting tomorrow). The first is “Level-Restricted Challenge No.1,” which challenges players to take on the specified missions in the lowest level possible. The next event is “Invasion of the Huge Creatures No.1,” which is pretty self-explanatory. Just look at the size of that monster!
I’m still having loads of fun with Raid Mode, and all these additions will continue to extend my time with it.
