Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a step in the right direction for Capcom. It focused more on survival horror than other recent, numbered entries in the series, and ended up becoming my favorite since the beloved Resident Evil 4. So it’s really nice to see that the love for this game is shared by many fans out there.
Capcom has revealed that the game has shipped 1.1 million units worldwide across all its available platforms. This number combines units shipped digitally through season passes and physically through retailers. This is great news for the franchise, especially after the critical and commercial success of Resident Evil HD Remaster. This should definitely let Capcom know what fans really want.
So even if Resident Evil 7 ends up being another action heavy game, we still have the Revelations sub series for us old-school fans, along with future remasters.
