In an interview held between Famitsu and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s producer Masashita Kawata, it has been revealed that the game is 45% complete. Slant Six will be making a demo available at E3 this June for those on the show floor. We’re also going to be getting some reveals relating to the creatures we’ll be facing in the game; which will most likely include some of the classic enemies we’ve been hearing about thus far.
Such a revelation may indicate that this will be an early 2012 release; still falling under its initial winter launch window. Regardless, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It will have players in the roles of the USS squad members right in the middle of the outbreak seen in Resident Evil 2 and 3. We’ll have more information for you on the game as it hits. You can also check out the game’s official Japanese web-site which just went live.
