Some good news for longtime Resident Evil fans! Capcom has just confirmed that Resident Evil HD Remaster has become their fastest-selling digital title to date across North America and Europe. The game has also been crowned as the biggest selling day one digital title on the PlayStation Network.
The game’s producer, Yoshiaki Hirabyashi, has commented on the news stating:
“It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release. The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance”
This could definitely paint a good picture for the series’ future. People have responded to this remastered horror masterpiece really well, with positive reviews to match the commercial success. So, how about that Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom?!
