After what seems like forever, fans looking forward to the next CG film in the franchise have finally found themselves on the receiving end of some reassuring information. Yup, Resident Evil: Damnation isn’t lounging with Paul W.S. Anderson’s 3D money in the Afterlife.
The upcoming film’s official site has just confirmed a Fall 2012 release, possibly before Resident Evil 6 hits as a sort of prequel (but that’s just speculation). Leon’s back, too, as the film’s reveal trailer showed. He once again finds himself in Europe, but this time he’s in the heart of an ongoing war with, of course, BOWs caught in the mix.
