This may not be the next big release in the series, but Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection shouldn’t be ignored nonetheless. More Resident Evil is never a bad thing, and now, we’re getting two superb former-Wii exclusive on-rails shooters in HD with trophy and PlayStation Move support.
Exclusive to the PlayStation 3, Chronicles HD Collection includes both The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles in one nice downloadable package. Yup, it’s only a digital release in North America, and it’ll cost you $26.99 or $24.29 if you’re a PlayStation Plus member. However, if you want to purchase only one of the two games, you’re going to have to wait until July 17 when both titles will be available individually for the price of $14.99 each.
