For many Resident Evil fans, Umbrella will always be the best threat in the series. They’ve been there since the beginning, bringing forth viral outbreaks that in turn served as central plot devices for some classic survival horror games. But there’s also other evil organizations in the series, too. With the most recent ones being Veltro and Tricell.
That leads us to Resident Evil 6. We know the world is in deep trouble by just the game’s first trailer alone. The American town of Tall Oaks, the Chinese city of Lanshiang, and a city somewhere in Europe, are all being faced with the effects of bio-terrorism. The question now is: Who’s behind it?
“All we can say now is that ‘someone’ is engaging in acts of bio-terrorism across the globe. Who it is, we can’t tell you.” says one of Resident Evil 6’s producers in a recent interview with Famitsu. Who is this “someone” ? We’re likely not going to find out until later on in the year, as we keep on crawling like downed zombies towards the game’s November 20th release. For now, though, let the speculation reach new heights!
Oh, and I must say. I’m pretty sure this “someone” and the “bitch” Chris talks about in the trailer are one in the same. Just sayin’.
