Capcom’s presence at gamescom was quite big and it became clear that Resident Evil 6 was one of the most biggest titles at the show. The show floor had stations to play the demo plus Capcom Cinema, a place where the brand new trailer debuted. Visitors outside of the gaming industry had to prepare themselves to wait up to 4 hours in-line though.
Luckily, there’s a business area which had no lines. I was able to get a good impression of Resident Evil 6 once again while at Capcom’s booth, for two hours. I even went there again the next day to play some more. Even though there was no new content to play, I may conduct a short write-up about my impressions in the coming days.
Capcom marketed Resident Evil 6 a whole lot in Cologne. Rotten jeeps with “No Hope Left” written on them were driving arround in the city, lurkers at many corners with suits, masks and “No Hope Left” signs. Then there were great looking zombies at the expo itself. We were able to snap a few pics, check them out below,

Here’s a short video showing the zombies at the expo:
And for those of you who are interested, i walk arround a bit in the show/entertainment floor in the following two videos:
Day 1, exhibitors and press only, but apparently some other people sneaked in aswell.
Day 2: You can see how much more people are there now that its open for all audiences.
