New Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode footage, screens, and information revealed

zom

Capcom has revealed some more information about Resident Evil Revelations 2’s Raid Mode today, going into more detail on what to expect.

As we all know, Raid Mode will come with the purchase of Resident Evil Revelations 2’s first episode on February 24 for $5.99. The first episode will include 54 Raid Mode missions across 3 difficulty settings. Episodes 2 and 3 will come with 36 missions each and the final episode will have 68. When the first episode launches, Raid Mode will only be playable in either single player or offline co-op. Online co-op will be added with a title update shortly after the final episode and disc version of the game hits.

On top of maps from the main game, Raid Mode will also compile maps from the original Revelations and Resident Evil 6. The throwback won’t just ends with maps from previous games, though. It’s also been confirmed that we’ll be facing some classic enemies. But Capcom will discuss this at a later date. And speaking of enemies, they’re tougher this time around, with enhancements not being restricted to just things like extra speed or strength.

In the end, Raid Mode will have 15 playable characters. The ones confirmed so far are Claire, Moira, Barry, Gina, Wesker, and Hunk. Wesker will be exclusive to the retail disc while Hunk will be available in both the complete season digital download and the aforementioned disc. Eventually, Hunk and Wesker will be available as DLC.

You can check out new screens from the mode below, along with some brand new footage.
