JBoc924Those of you that know me enough know damn well that I love Jill. She’s hands-down my favorite female character in the series. But, there’s another Resident Evil babe that I also love, and her name is Ada Wong. Yeah, she may not be first, but still, Ada has a part of my heart.
So, you could visualize the excitement painted on my face after reading that Ada would be in the next Resident Evil film, Retribution. Then we got the actress who would take on the role confirmed as being Li Bingbing. Quite frankly, I really haven’t seen any of her past films, so I can’t really comment on how, judging from her past roles, she’ll be able to portray Ada on the big screen (this is the first time the beloved femme fatale will be on the silver screen after all). Then we got the pic showing off Bingbing with her new hairstyle, which honestly looks exactly like Ada’s. So, there was a good start!
But, like most of you, I’m very eager to seeing a full body shot of the actress in her Ada attire, which judging by a piece of concept art seems to be the same as her look from Resident Evil 4. So, now we have these new set pics, courtesy of Resident Evil Xtreme. They show off Barry, Leon (sans the jacket) and Luthor in action from a distance. And guess what? We also get a look at Ada! (But you have to look at the image really closely.)

So, what do you think of her Resident 4-esque look from this one image? The classic red dress has been altered a bit and the stripper heels have been swapped with boots (which kind of makes more sense in a combat situation), but overall I think it does retain that memorable Ada look. But, that’s just my opinion. I’m eager to read yours!
