Capcom has just released a brand new image from Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City via the series’ official Facebook page showing off Jill and Nemesis in a classic predicament (pictured above). And as you can see, this image definitely brings back a lot of fond memories.
I’m more than aware that there’s a number of fans out there that aren’t too happy about this game–being a squad-based shooter and more lenient towards the multiplayer-loving crowd– but honestly, it’s moments like the one pictured above that will make this an experience fans should definitely check out. At least for the throwbacks to Resident Evils 2 and 3. Hell, it’s set in Raccoon City! Which isn’t to say that that should be the only reason to get this game. It’s just nice to head back to where it all started, seeing things from a new perspective this time as Umbrella operatives.
Nemesis, William, the T-103 Tyrant, and other beloved classic BOWs will make their big return next week when Operation Raccoon City hits retailers.
