New footage released from Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s Gamers Day 2011 demo

Gamers Day 2011 may be over, having taken place last week, but we’re still getting satisfying bits of info relating to next year’s announced pair of Resident Evil titles (I say announced because you never know what else Capcom has up their sleeve for 2012). Yesterday you got to view Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s brand new trailer, with all the awesomeness it contained, as well a large batch of new screens. Today we’re given a look at the actual demo that was on-hand at the press event– which I sadly wasn’t able to attend (sad face)– thanks to IGN.

Below you’ll find a video playthrough of said demo, injected with some commentary from Capcom’s own Mike Jones, giving us some more insight as to what’s going on in this particular build. The demo takes the USS squad out of the streets and into the City Hall, which, as expected, is littered with zombies as well. The video clocks in at nearly 9 minutes, and it’s quite exciting to see a fan-favorite Resident Evil 3 character pop out in it. And, it’s also just beyond satisfying having HUNK be the one to give you orders. I’d let HUNK order me around too…(does that sound wrong?)
