I have fond memories of the death mask room from the Resident Evil remake. It was an area that wasn’t in the game’s original PlayStation release, and it tied in perfectly with another addition this GameCube remake made: Crimson Heads.
This room held a puzzle that, upon solving, would lead to the appearance of a crimson head. To make it even more cool, he came bursting out of a coffin! This room was apparently an actual video file before, which is touched upon in this new developer video for Resident Evil HD Remaster. Now, for the 2015 remastered edition, this room has been remade.
