JBoc924As always, star of the Resident Evil film franchise Milla Jovovich has tweeted another piece of valuable information from the upcoming fifth film in the series, Resident Evil: Retribution. To follow up the reveal of who would be playing Leon in the film, Milla has now tweeted that her husband, the beloved Paul W.S. Anderson, has found an actress for the role of Ada Wong. Said actress is Li Bingbing.
The name may not exactly ring any bells– the likes of which Ada herself rung in Resident Evil 4’s opening moments. But Li Bingbing has starred in a number of motion pictures, with the one you may recall being The Forbidden Kingdom, a film which also starred Jackie Chan. But, this is Resident Evil we’re talking about here. So, having said that, is this a good pick? Am I the only one that’s sad to see that Maggie Q didn’t get the role?
