Capcom held their Gamers Day 2011 event last week for members of the press. They showed off their slate of 2012 titles, including, of course, their upcoming announced Resident Evil titles. First up is Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, which got a batch of new assets (we’ll have a separate post dedicated to the new Revelations assets momentarily) from the event.
There’s quite a lot of new images here, but they each serve to make the wait for March even harder than before. There’s even a beautiful render of William Birkin! As if Inserted Evil wasn’t enough, now we have visual proof of him being in the game. Hell, we even get to see images from a boss battle against the classic BOW! We also get some interesting images showing HUNK and Nicolai each interacting with the USS squad. New areas are also shown, which is quite welcome since thus far all we’ve seen is the same streets of Raccoon City from the previous demo build of the game.
You can view all the new images in the gallery below and stay tuned for the new trailer and Revelations assets.
