Capcom in Japan threw a ‘Summer Jam’ last night, where they showed off new gameplay for several of their upcoming titles. Videos have popped up today, and this includes two new gameplay videos for the PS3 version of Resident Evil 6. The footage shows a couple gameplay segments we’ve only seen in trailers, which is the Metro/Subway location in Leon’s story, and the boss fight against Ustanak, which is known to be one of the segments of the game where two of the character stories ‘crossover’ and allow for 4-player co-op.
This is also the first gameplay we’ve seen of the PS3 version, and while it should be noted the frame rate should maybe not be completely judged off these videos alone (even the live stage footage is a bit laggy) the PS3 version does seem to need a little work as there is some screen tearing and texture pop-ins, among a few other technical quibbles. Possibly a reason the PS3 demo of the game comes out so much later than the 360 demo?
We’ll keep you updated on RE6 news as it develops, and you can check out the gameplay below.
