Capcom has streamed their E3 demo for Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster. The demo takes us on a trip back through the Ecliptic Express. It’s worth noting that Capcom might be doing some considerable work on the CG cutscenes, too, seeing as how the intro cinematic wasn’t present here. It was replaced by text over still images from said intro. Yeah, I know what you might be saying, “maybe they just omitted them to save time.” Well, there’s always a skip button!
The game sure does look great. Judging from the footage, there aren’t any muddy-looking areas, like the few in Resident Evil HD Remaster (damn you, aqua ring!). But, of course, this is just an early chunk of the game, so we’ll have to wait and see if this amazing visual enhancement remains prominent throughout the entirety of the game.
