This year’s Tokyo Game Show has come and gone. With it came quite an uproar and sense of downright confusion due to a fake teaser trailer being released which all but confirmed Resident Evil 6. Well, Capcom (of America) came out and claimed it as being fake, so fans were left wondering if they would still get the announcement they’ve been patiently waiting for at last week’s event. It didn’t happen (though we did get a neat logo!), but hey, we still have Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil 4/ Code: Veronica X HD, and Revelations to look forward to, right?
Capcom held a special Resident Evil 15th anniversary conference at this year’s TGS, in which they went over their current plans for the series– with a surprising lack of Resident Evil 6. We also got a Revelations-centric stage show, clocking in at almost 40 minutes. You can view said stage show below, but be warned: logically, you’ll need to know Japanese if you want to understand what’s being said as there’s no translation available. Regardless, we can still visually make out what’s going on. We get introduced to the game’s cast of characters and we also get to see the game’s Gamescom 2011 demo being run through again. You can view all of that below, courtesy of Biohazard France.
