Capcom has released another developer video celebrating Resident Evil’s 20th anniversary. This time we have an interview with developers Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Yasuhiro Anpo.
The two developers are reuniting, after their time working on Resident Evil 5, to bring the remake of Resident Evil 2 to life. At the head of the project is a director that will be announced at a later date (let the speculation begin!).
Talking about their fond memories of the remake of the original Resident Evil, the developers state how they want to “supersede it with a new modernized version of Resident Evil 2.” They also state how just upgrading the visuals won’t be enough for the upcoming remake.
