Capcom sold 800,000 copies of Resident Evil 6 in the US in October

806,000 copies to be exact. That’s how many copies of Resident Evil 6 Capcom sold in October. In Japan, 808,039 copies of the game were sold as of November 4th. Whip out them calculators! That brings the total number of copies sold in the two countries to 1.61 million. We’re still waiting to see how many copies were sold in Europe.

As we reported on before, Capcom has shipped 4.5 million units of the game worldwide. Initially, the publisher was looking to ship 7 million units by March 31, 2013. But they’ve recently bumped that number down to 6 million. And with the Holiday season in full effect, Capcom is quite confident in meeting that projection.

Resident Evil 6 is set to receive a big title update in mid-December, which will bring the much demanded option to change the game’s camera settings (the image above offers a look at the new setting). It’l also make Ada’s scenario available from the get-go, and she’ll also be getting a partner. Are you still immersed in the game?
