Not that long ago, Resident Evil: Damnation’s official Japanese site saw a promising update. While not giving us an official release date, other than a confirmed Fall 2012 window, we did get word that the film is in fact right on track. We also learned a bit about the general plot: Leon finds himself in the middle of a European war zone in a not-so-known part of the country. But he’s Leon, so I’m sure he’ll be fine!
The CG film’s American site has just gone live, and it doesn’t reveal anything new except a few comments from the filmmakers which are definitely worth a read. Again, they don’t hold any huge revelations, but it’s still nice to read such comments from the people behind our anticipated films/games. It seems that the minds behind Damnation are truly committed to giving fans a great film and a worthy addition to the overall franchise.
