Capcom UK has finally (FINALLY) revealed when fans on platforms other than PlayStation can get their hands on the Resident Evil 7 demo. The final demo, which has received three content updates since launch on PS4 at E3, will be available on Xbox One on December 9th and PC (via Steam) on December 19th — assuming the UK and NA releases are the same. The new demo will be available sometime today on PS4 in both regions.
It’s been a long wait to get this demo on other platforms. I’ve been itching to play it on my PC, and had to resort to purchasing PS+ (which I don’t need otherwise) to play it. I’m sure Xbox and PC Resident Evil fans without access to PS4 alike can’t wait either. I’m gonna 4K the hell out of that demo baby. Real 4K, not up-scaled marketing lingo.
For those curious, Capcom has also put up the system requirements and PC graphic settings on Steam. You can check that out here.
