After nearly six months of waiting, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard‘s demo Begining Hour is finally available on Xbox One. Lucky enough, it’s also the full, complete Midnight version of the demo as well, meaning Xbox One players won’t have to wait for any more content.
It’ll be nice to finally get a chance to see how the game runs on different hardware, as everything we’ve seen so far has been running on PS4. It’ll also be interesting to see how the controls feel with a different controller, as someone who owns both platforms. Of course, if this is your first time getting to play the demo, you might find yourself stuck a lot – never fear, I put together a handy, spoiler-free guide, and it’ll help you if you get stuck, or if you decide to hunt for the game’s hidden puzzle (involving that damn finger you’ve no doubt heard so much about).
For PC players still waiting, don’t worry, the demo is coming to your platform as well, on December 19th.
