Yesterday at the Future Games Show, we finally got the motherlode of desired info for Remothered: Broken Porcelain, with a new trailer that not only shows tons more gameplay and unseen footage but a confirmation of the game’s the release date.
This new trailer includes more footage of Rosemary as well as the new main character, Jennifer (I’m assuming this is the Jennifer mentioned many times in Tormented Fathers), and the game looks as beautiful as ever. We get to see even more of the stealth and defensive combat mechanics added, as well as a nasty surprise: the return of the Red Nun from the first game. The encounters with the nun look even more terrifying this time around, as she now wields a damn flamethrower — as if she needed to be any more frightening than she already was.
Remothered: Broken Porcelain is confirmed for August 25th this year for consoles and PC, so we don’t even have very long to wait before we can start exploring the Ashmann Inn for ourselves. If you haven’t been following the updates about the game in recent weeks and months, there’s a number of articles we’ve posted lately, including a preview article and an interview with director, Chris Darril.
You can watch the release date trailer below to see how great the game’s shaping up to be and all the improvements we can expect from it when it releases later this summer.
Now that I’m going to have nightmares of the Red Nun again tonight, I may not sleep too well, but that also means that I can’t wait to get my hands on the game this August and delve back into the world of Remothered.
