Control will be released on August 27 this year and Remedy Entertainment has revealed the minimum and recommended requirements that will be needed to play the PC version, which will be supported by NVIDIA’s ray tracing tech.
The low is more manageable than expected, while the recommended requirements are much higher, especially if you want to use ray tracing effects, which requires at least the GeForce RTX 2060.

- Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 / AMD Radeon R9 280X
- RAM – 8 GB
- Operating system – Windows 7, 64bit

Recommended PC system requirements
- Processor – Intel Core i5-7600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
- Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660/1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580
- For ray tracing – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
- RAM -16 GB
- Operating system – Windows 10, 64-bit
- DirectX – DX11 / DX12
The developers also announced additional features. The PC version of the game will have ultra widescreen support 21:9, the ability to remap the controls, and un-capped framerates.
The day before yesterday, it was also confirmed that, unfortunately, Remedy’s work would not have a New Game Plus mode. The response was different regarding the photo mode, which was announced will land after the launch.
