RE2 Remake: Check out the Deluxe Edition Costumes in Action

Capcom recently showed off first looks at the RE2 Remake costumes included in the Deluxe Edition, and now we finally get to see them in game. There are more costumes they haven’t shown off yet, but we’ll update when Capcom does.

We can also see the Noire filter as well, which displays the entire game in black and white. I’ve never really been one for filter swaps, as I generally find that they either just make it kind of hard to see or end up just taking away from a lot of the planned artistry. But it’s there if you want it. Makes me wonder what other filters might be available if any. RE5 had several, as did Revelations 2, but neither game had anything spectacular in my opinion. It’s also super strange to see Leon with his hair combed back, he basically looks like a completely different person even though the RE2 Remake version is literally a different person than before.

UPDATE: They’ve now shown off Claire’s Elza Walker look. An RE nut’s dream.

Resident Evil 2 Remake, of course, releases January 24th, 2019.
