Rainbow Six Quarantine, the co-op spinoff of Ubisoft’s competitive shooter, now has a release window. Ubisoft is aiming to release the title prior to or early in Spring 2020.
Based on the limited-time event in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, “Outbreak,” Rainbow Six Quarantine will assumedly be a co-op PvE experience in which players fight against waves of mutants while completing objectives. There has not yet been any gameplay footage made available, only a teaser trailer. It will be interesting to see how they flesh the game mode out into a full product and differentiate it from similar games.
Let’s pretend I made a joke in there somewhere about Tachanka and, I dunno, mowing down hordes of racist Siege players — the monsters that already permeate the game online. We’ll keep an eye on new updates from Quarantine and see how it stacks up.
