My favorite blood-soaked murder sim is back. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number just had a brand new trailer drop today and it’s something else. Set to to the upbeat rhythm of a new song, today’s trailer gives us a look at some extremely violent and skillful Hotline Miami 2 gameplay. While I’m sure it won’t be so easy to replicate the moves we’re seeing in the trailer, there’s still some interesting new additions that fans of the first game will definitely appreciate. Two words: dual wielding.
The trailer below shows off such new skills as the ability to dual wield SMGs and point them in two different directions, ninja-rolling and CQC, and some extremely powerful takedowns. There’s also multiple characters on display in this trailer, with one choice being a set of twins. At first I thought the game would feature co-op play, but the Hotline Miami Twitter account addressed the confusion pretty quickly and said that what we saw was the brother and sister combo that are controlled together as one.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number releases in Q3 2014 on PC, PS4, and PlayStation Vita. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game, what about you?
