As reported by both Famitsu and 4Gamer, the PlayStation 2 classic Forbidden Siren will receive two gallery events within Japan. Both events are completely free of charge if you’re in the area and want to attend, however you must pre-register for reservations in order to attend the gallery itself. The first event will take place in Nakano, Tokyo from August 1 to August 19, while the second event will take place in Shinsaibashi, Osaka and will be held from October 2 to October 30. Pre-registration for these gallery events has not yet gone live so you’ll need to keep a close ear to the ground for the time being.
It is also noted that the SIE JAPAN Studio Twitter has posted a tweet that they are working on new Siren-related merchandise. Nothing yet has been revealed, but whatever the item is it will more than likely be available to purchase at both events.
While there has been no mention of a new Siren game in the works, let alone ports of Forbidden Siren or Siren: Blood Curse, one can only hope that perhaps one day we will be graced with an announcement of a sequel to Blood Curse (perhaps in the vein of the unlocalized Forbidden Siren 2) or something new entirely.
